HOW DO I APPLY FOR MY CHILD TO BE REPRESENTED?

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE MY CHILD IS REGISTERED WITH YOU AND SPOTLIGHT?
Your child will be submitted for all assignments that they meet the criteria for. As and when a client contacts us asking to meet your child for a casting or book them for a shoot, we will contact you by email or telephone. You will not be contact you every time your child is submitted for work.
WILL MY CHILD BE GUARANTEED WORK?
Unfortunately, not, work cannot be promised or guaranteed. it’s down to the client on who they select for a production. The performers must showcase their talent and skills at audition. Continuous training and preparation for casting and auditions to give them the best opportunity.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST FOR MY CHILD TO BE REPRESENTED?
There are no joining or administration fees for representation with Theatre Peckham x Loraine Hudson. All successful applicants will be invited to register with Spotlight which currently charges an Annual Subscription of £134.70 or Monthly Subscription of £12.18. A subscription is a requirement of representation for all artists aged 4+ years. Commissions will be charged on all incomes generated via contracts initiated by Theatre Peckham x Loraine Hudson. All commissions are within industry standards.
DOES MY CHILD STILL HAVE TO ATTEND CLASSES NOW THEY HAVE AN AGENT?
It is incredibly important that every young performer continues to attend training sessions at Theatre Peckham and endeavour to increase their skills and performance development so that they are ‘Audition Ready’.
As a represented student of Theatre Peckham, we expect your attendance at any Professional Workshops. These sessions are designed to enhance provide industry insights and support your growth as a performer.
AS A PARENT WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?
Invitations to audition can sometimes be with little notice and will require the parents support for your child to either audition via ‘Self-Tape’ at home or attend ‘In-Person’ auditions after school which are mostly in Central London. When successful in booking the role, further commitment is required for rehearsals, travel and production that may require school absence.
